Dish Trick by Jo Ann Callis featured in On the Shelf 2025 at Filter Photo

Luhz Press is delighted to share that Dish Trick by Jo Ann Callis has been selected by Tim Carpenter to be included in the photo book exhibition, On the Shelf 2025, in conjunction with the 2025 Filter Photo Festival.

The public reception for the exhibition will be held this Friday, September 19th, from 5 until 8pm at Filter Photo, Chicago. 

Exhibition Dates: September 5th – October 25th, 2025
Festival Reception: September 19th, 5–8pm

About the Juror
Tim Carpenter is a photographer, writer, and educator working in Brooklyn and central Illinois. He is the author of such photobooks as Local objects, Christmas Day, Bucks Pond Road, and Little, as well as the book-length essay To photograph is to learn how to die.
